1. The DVD cover dennotes that the genre of the film is Sci-Fi, we can connote that the sub genre of the film is action and thriller because this is dennoted through quotes and the synopsis.

2. People, places and events are represented by being dennoted on the front cover in the centre. Also small screenshots are dennoted on the back cover. We can connote from the synopsis what sort of events are going to happen and where abouts they might take place.

3. The DVD cover dennotes the names of some production companies, this connotes that they were involved in producing the film.

4. The target audience are denoted through the synopsis as it appeals to people who enjoy horror thriller genre films, however the front cover connotes an action thriller film, so it could also be appealing to people who enjoy action films.
